At Rannscape Weaves (a brand of Rannscape Ventures Private Limited), we take pride in the quality and craftsmanship of every product we offer. Throughout this policy, the terms "we", "us" and "our" refer to Rannscape Ventures Private Limited. If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we are here to help you understand your options for returns, exchanges, and refunds.
Please read this policy carefully before making a purchase. By placing an order on our website, you agree to be bound by the terms of this Return & Refund Policy.
SECTION 1 - RETURN ELIGIBILITY AND WINDOW
You must initiate a return request within 7 days of receiving your order.
To be eligible for a return or exchange, the item must meet all of the following conditions:
- Unused
- Unwashed
- Undamaged
- In its original packaging
- With all original tags intact
Returns that do not meet the above conditions may not be accepted.
The following items are non-returnable:
- Custom-made products
- Personalised products
- Bespoke or made-to-order products
However, if any such item arrives damaged, defective, incorrect, or materially different from its description, you may contact us for resolution in accordance with applicable law.
SECTION 2 - EXCHANGES AND REFUNDS
Exchanges: If you wish to return a product because it does not meet your expectations, we may offer an exchange for another item of equal or comparable value, subject to product availability. Where the replacement item differs in value, the price difference may be collected from you or adjusted appropriately, as applicable.
Refunds: Monetary refunds may be offered where a product is confirmed to be:
- Defective
- Damaged in transit
- Incorrectly shipped
- Materially different from its description
- Otherwise eligible under applicable consumer protection law
Nothing in this policy limits or excludes your statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, or any other applicable law.
SECTION 3 - HANDCRAFTED NATURE OF PRODUCTS
Many of our products are handwoven, hand-dyed, hand-block-printed, or otherwise artisan-crafted by skilled craftspersons in Kutch, Gujarat, India. As a result, minor irregularities in weave, texture, finish, dimensions, and colour may occur naturally.
Slight variations arising from handmade processes, natural dyes, lighting conditions, or screen settings are inherent characteristics of artisanal products and shall not, by themselves, be treated as defects or grounds for return.
If you believe your product is materially different from its description — beyond expected artisanal variation — please contact us so that we may review and assist you.
SECTION 4 - DAMAGED, DEFECTIVE, INCORRECT, OR MISDESCRIBED ORDERS
If your order arrives damaged, defective, incorrect, or materially different from its description, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery so that we may review the matter and assist you promptly.
To help us process your request efficiently, please provide:
- Your order number
- A clear description of the issue
- Clear supporting photographs of the damage, defect, incorrect item, or discrepancy
Upon verification, we may arrange, at our discretion and in accordance with applicable law:
- A replacement
- An exchange
- A full refund
No additional cost will be charged to you where the return or replacement is due to a verified defect, transit damage, incorrect shipment, or material misdescription on our part.
SECTION 5 - HOW TO INITIATE A RETURN OR EXCHANGE

Please include the following in your communication:
- Your order number
- Reason for return, exchange, or complaint
- Clear photographs of the product, where applicable
Once your request has been reviewed and approved, we will provide specific instructions on how to return the item. Items sent back without prior approval or without following our return instructions may not be accepted.
SECTION 6 - RETURN SHIPPING
Unless the item is confirmed to be defective, damaged in transit, incorrectly shipped, or materially misdescribed, the cost of return shipping shall be borne by the customer.
We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service for all returns. Rannscape Ventures Private Limited cannot be held responsible for returned items that are lost or damaged in transit.
SECTION 7 - REFUND PROCESSING
Where a refund is approved, it will be processed to the original method of payment used at the time of purchase.
Please allow 7 to 14 business days from the date of refund approval for the amount to reflect in your account, subject to the timelines of your bank, card issuer, or payment gateway provider.
Shipping charges, duties, taxes, or ancillary fees may be refunded only where required under applicable law or where the return is solely due to an error on our part.
SECTION 8 - CANCELLATIONS
You may request the cancellation of your order within 12 hours of placing it by contacting us at admin@rannscape.com.
Cancellation requests received after 12 hours are not guaranteed and will depend on the stage of order processing and fulfilment at the time of the request. If the order has already been processed or dispatched, cancellation may not be possible. In such cases, the order will be governed by this Return & Refund Policy.
SECTION 9 - INTERNATIONAL ORDERS
For all international orders, the following are the sole responsibility of the recipient unless expressly stated otherwise at the time of purchase:
- Customs duties
- Import taxes
- Local handling charges
- Delays caused by international customs processing
Where a refund is approved for an international order, it will be issued in the original transaction currency. Please note that your bank, card issuer, or payment provider may apply currency exchange rates or ancillary charges, which are outside our control and for which we bear no responsibility.
SECTION 10 - CONSUMER RIGHTS
Nothing in this Return & Refund Policy limits or excludes your statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, and other applicable laws, including your rights with respect to:
- Defective or damaged products
- Products materially different from their description
- Incorrectly delivered products
- Delayed, lost, or non-delivered orders
- Refunds, replacements, or compensation as applicable under law
