This beautifully crafted Kala Cotton Stole in a soft mauve shade is a testament to the enduring beauty of Kutch's weaving traditions. Balancing a gentle base with white borders and striking mauve stripes, it offers an understated yet refined take on heritage handloom.

This stole is a testament to the Old World cotton of Kutch. Unlike industrial cotton, Kala Cotton is organic by nature, rain-fed, and resilient, resulting in a fabric that has a distinct, earthy texture that softens beautifully with every wear.

This stole features a mauve body that radiates elegance and timeless grace. It is designed for those who appreciate artisanal details, showcasing a stunning transition at the hem where a white base emerges, adorned with rhythmic mauve horizontal stripes interspersed with delicate geometric Chaumukh and Dhungali motifs. The natural texture of the Kala Cotton gives the mauve base with scattered indigo Damroo motifs a beautiful, subtle depth, while the contrasting striped border creates a striking visual narrative.

Feel: Soft, durable, and lightweight. It has a substantial, slightly grainy texture similar to fine khadi, providing excellent breathability and comfort against the skin.

Hand-Weaving: The yarn is woven on traditional pit looms by skilled artisans from the Vankar community in Gujarat.

Bhujodi Weaving: The intricate geometric patterns and the striped borders are characteristic of the famous Bhujodi weaving, where extra-weft techniques are used to create raised motifs.

Artisanal Details: The ends of the stole feature a breathtaking gradient effect, transitioning from white into progressively deeper mauve horizontal stripes, embellished with scattered geometric Chaumukh and Dhungali motifs. The mauve body complements the indigo Damroo motifs beautifully, creating a harmonious colour story.

1.Hand wash in cold water using a mild, eco-friendly detergent or baby shampoo.

2.Wash dark colours separately as dyes may bleed slightly in the first few washes.

3.Do not soak.

4.Dry in shade to maintain the vibrancy of the dyes.

5.Warm iron if needed.
