This beautifully crafted Kala Cotton Stole in slate blue is a testament to the enduring beauty of Kutch's weaving traditions. Balancing a cool, sophisticated base with off-white borders, it offers an understated yet refined take on heritage handloom.

This stole is a testament to the Old World cotton of Kutch. Unlike industrial cotton, Kala Cotton is organic by nature, rain-fed, and resilient, resulting in a fabric that has a distinct, earthy texture that softens beautifully with every wear.

This stole features a calming slate blue body that radiates understated elegance and timeless grace. It is designed for those who appreciate artisanal details, showcasing a stunning transition at the hem where an off-white base emerges, adorned with delicate horizontal ribbed stripes interspersed with subtle Vankiyo and geometric Chaumukh motifs. The natural texture of the Kala Cotton gives the slate blue base a beautiful, subtle depth, while the contrasting striped border creates a striking visual narrative.

Feel: Soft, durable, and lightweight. It has a substantial, slightly grainy texture similar to fine khadi, providing excellent breathability and comfort against the skin.

Hand-Weaving: The yarn is woven on traditional pit looms by skilled artisans from the Vankar community in Gujarat.

Bhujodi Weaving: The intricate geometric patterns and the striped borders are characteristic of the famous Bhujodi style, where extra-weft techniques are used to create raised motifs.

Artisanal Details: The ends of the stole feature a breathtaking gradient effect, transitioning from off-white into progressively deeper slate blue horizontal ribbed stripes of Vankiyo motifs, embellished with scattered geometric Chaumukh motifs. The cream hem creates a harmonious contrast against the cool slate blue body.

1.Hand wash in cold water using a mild, eco-friendly detergent or baby shampoo.

2.Wash dark colours separately as dyes may bleed slightly in the first few washes.

3.Do not soak.

4.Dry in shade to maintain the vibrancy of the dyes.

5.Warm iron if needed.
