This striking Kala Cotton Stole in scarlet red is a celebration of geometry and heritage. Hand-woven with meticulous care, it features a white grid pattern and intricate extra-weft Chaumukh motifs that showcase the pinnacle of Kutch’s weaving excellence.

This stole is a testament to the Old World cotton of Kutch. Unlike industrial cotton, Kala Cotton is organic by nature, rain-fed, and resilient, resulting in a fabric that has a distinct, earthy texture that softens beautifully with every wear.

This stole balances a bold, energetic base color with refined white accents. The design is characterized by thin, vertical pinstripes running through the body, leading to a highly detailed end-piece that serves as the centerpiece of the garment. The organic texture of the Kala Cotton gives the red a matte, earthy depth that is both traditional and modern.

Feel: Soft, durable and lightweight. It has a substantial, slightly grainy texture similar to fine khadi, providing excellent breathability and comfort against the skin.

Hand-Weaving: The yarn is woven on traditional pit looms by skilled artisans from the Vankar community in Gujarat.

Bhujodi Weaving: The intricate geometric patterns and the striped borders are characteristic of the famous Bhujodi style, where extra-weft techniques are used to create raised motifs.

Artisanal Details: The ends of the stole are decorated with dense white bands featuring Hodathiyo, Popati and traditional Chaumukh motifs, creating a beautiful contrast against the solid red body. The stole is finished with hand-knotted tassels in white, adding a soft, tactile finish to the crisp handloom fabric.

1.Hand wash in cold water using a mild, eco-friendly detergent or baby shampoo.

2.Wash dark colours separately as dyes may bleed slightly in the first few washes.

3.Do not soak.

4.Dry in shade to maintain the vibrancy of the dyes.

5.Warm iron if needed.
